Hey there. My name is Layla, and I live in upstate NY. A little bit about me: I like coffee, yoga, hiking, my kids, my cats, eating good food, listening to podcasts, and singing really loudly in the shower (not necessarily in that order). My current favorite meal includes fresh oysters, paired with a funky, orange wine. I think it’s beautiful when the morning sun streams through my window and fills the room with pretty light beams. But I digress…

A few years ago I took my photography passion and turned it into a full-time business, and I couldn’t be more excited about it. I photograph a little bit of everything, but always through the lens of a storyteller.

I love working with small businesses, capturing eye-catching images to help tell the story of their brand. I also adore photographing love in its various forms- be it for a wedding, an engagement shoot, family portraits, maternity, newborn, and all of life’s celebrations (baby showers, bridal showers, birthdays, family vacay, you name it). I believe even headshots and portrait sessions can be done in an interesting way that helps tell the story of the individual. It makes for a much more compelling image as well.
